My Review
I LOVE THIS SERIES! I remember reading these books way back in the sixth grade, which was years and years ago. This one is not as good as the first one though, because most of the action happens in the last pages, instead of within the whole book. I'm not saying that there is not any action. I'm just saying that it dragged in the middle...
This book was honestly, very good though. Why would I be re-reading it, if I didn't like it? I have to give Lauren Myracle brownie points. She really does know how to connect with teenage girls. Some of the things she brought up in the book are things I think about and wonder all the time! As I said, definitely a good author who really knows how to connect with her readers.
Another thing I love about this book, is that all three girls in the book (Angela, Zoe, and Maddie), are all such different girls, but all alike in ways.
Angela is the girly-girl, and definitely the drama queen. She's your average boy crazy teenage girl.
Zoe is the quiet, good girl, who is always scared to take risks, and never opposes to what she is told (Athough you'll find her coming more and more out of her comfort zone during this one).
Maddie is the rebel. Definitely. In this book, we find her really testing her limits with what she can get away with. She's the fearless one, who is never afraid of saying what she wants. Although this does come in the way when considering that she always wants to seem cool, which leads her to doing things in not only this book, but in the first one TTYL, that she later regrets. But who doesn't do this at one point in their life?
Overall, this book was worth the read, and you'll find yourself coming back to it years later, like me, if you end up loving it. The main reason as to why I keep coming back to this series, is because it's very, very relatable. A very coming-of-age story!
