Goodreads Summary: "It starts with an itch you just can’t shake. Then comes a fever and a tickle in your throat. A few days later, you’ll be blabbing your secrets and chatting with strangers like they’re old friends. Three more, and the paranoid hallucinations kick in.
And then you’re dead.
When a deadly virus begins to sweep through sixteen-year-old Kaelyn’s community, the government quarantines her island—no one can leave, and no one can come back.
Those still healthy must fight for dwindling supplies, or lose all chance of survival. As everything familiar comes crashing down, Kaelyn joins forces with a former rival and discovers a new love in the midst of heartbreak. When the virus starts to rob her of friends and family, she clings to the belief that there must be a way to save the people she holds dearest.
Because how will she go on if there isn’t?"

I loved the concept of this book. It's really similar to 'No Safety in Numbers'. An unknown disease is spreadly quickly through a small island of people. Intense... and unique.
I found the characters really enjoyable, and likable at the same time. I felt for Kaelyn at so many points. It was heartbreaking when her family started dying, something I didn't really expect to happen. Not only that, when she got sick, I was surprised.
This book is pretty suspenseful, and it keeps you reading. I honestly did not feel like putting it down. It kept me turning and wondering constantly what was going to happen next.
The ending leaves you on a bit of a cliffhanger, although I never suspected there to be a next one. Although, apparently this book is going to follow into a series. Yay!
The plot line was fast-paced and enjoyable.
I would reccommend this book definitely. Especially since it's different, and not your typical YA read.(
