Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.

Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

This book is intended for mature audiences."

Overall, Fifty Shades of Grey WAS a good book. I'm not going to deny it, just to sound like another "fangirl". This book was good. I couldn't believe it when I heard that this book was actually the result of a fan-fiction of Twilight. Really? When it gets down to it, I was surprised how good the book was despite the fact that there really was a basis of Twilight in it.

The writing was good. Average, but obviously detailed. Especially when it came to the sex scenes.

Hm... my take on the subject of the book? Different, yes. I mean obviously we all know erotica is in fact a genre, but it's funny to see one gain so much popularity.

In all honesty, I don't neccessarily see the hype. The sex scenes were pretty "average". Nothing too crazy and out there. I really cannot see why this book has so much attention. Yes, it's a good read... but.... really?

The plotline was actually really well written. It was exciting, and I found myself wanting to constantly figure out what happened next. It was definitely a fast-paced plot line. I found Ana to be likable, although somewhat needy. I also hated how she obviously kept putting up with Christian's crap throughout the book, even though we all know the way he was treating her was not neccessarily okay. At the end, I'm happy that she FINALLY stood up to him, and gave him that ultimatum.

Also, in my general opinion, I don't put age limits on most reads. As long as your mature, I say go for it. I may be seventeen, but I do know what sex is. What seventeen year old has never heard or talked about it? Exactly. I just say, if you think you can handle it, and be mature about it, go ahead and read it. Don't just read it for the hell of it because it's sexual. Be interested for the novel in whole.

This book definitely has that feel for that "Twilight read-alike" when you figure it out.

I advise this book as a book worth reading, although not something neccessary. It's basically like Twilight, but hyped up with sex. Worth it, but it's not worth all the hype it's getting in my opinion.

But in all, I will definitely be picking up the next book!

So, I found this totally funny: (fans, don't take offense)
